The Situation
Griaule's largest client — a Federal Government agency — operated mission-critical biometric systems where documentation gaps translated directly into support load, audit risk, and procurement friction. In public sector contracts, documentation quality rarely makes it into a renewal conversation as a positive signal.
What I Did
I owned the Docs-as-Code pipeline (Sphinx, reStructuredText, Git Hooks) and authored the 1,000+ pages of technical content and API references that served this client across 11 products. Documentation updates deployed continuously alongside product changes, keeping the content the client relied on always-current.
The Outcomes
• The client raised documentation quality unprompted in a contract renewal meeting • Contributed to contract continuation with Griaule's largest account • Estimated 10–20% reduction in documentation-related support tickets • Reinforced Griaule's positioning during competitive procurement reviews
