    Years in software delivery

I'm Matheus — a Technical Project Manager and Digital PM based in Londrina, Brazil, working remotely with teams across Europe and the Americas. I sit at the intersection of engineering and business in a way most project managers don't. I can read a technical spec, challenge an implementation decision, and explain the same thing clearly to a non-technical stakeholder, all in the same conversation. The through line across every role has been the same: structure that didn't exist before, processes that outlast the engagement, and teams that can actually see what they're working on.

    What I Do

    Technical Project Management

I manage delivery across software development, digital product, and SaaS environments — from discovery and requirements through testing, launch, and iteration. I work with Agile frameworks and adapt them to what teams actually need, not what the Scrum Guide says they should do. At MoveUp Media, I joined as the first dedicated PM, scaled the team from 2 to 8, and built the delivery infrastructure from scratch — including the first sprint cadence, backlog structure, and measurement system the team had ever had.

    Digital Project Management

I coordinate delivery across 30+ websites in 20+ international markets, balancing technical priorities, stakeholder expectations, and tight timelines across engineering, design, and commercial teams — remotely, across time zones. Since introducing structured Agile workflows at MoveUp, ticket volume dropped 80%, first-response time fell from 1 day to 30 minutes, and site performance improved 80%.

    Requirements Engineering

I translate what stakeholders want into specs engineering can build — and I know the difference between what someone says they need and what will actually solve their problem. I've run product discovery for B2G government contracts, new product launches, and everything in between. The output is wireframes, prototypes, and functional specifications that engineering teams can act on immediately, not documents that gather dust before development starts.

    Technical Writing & Docs-as-Code

At Griaule, I replaced a fragmented system of scattered Google Docs — updated on demand, often months out of date — with a Docs-as-Code pipeline built on Sphinx, reStructuredText, and Git Hooks. The result was 1,000+ pages of always-current technical content and API references across 11 products. Griaule's largest client, a Federal Government agency, raised the documentation quality unprompted in a contract renewal meeting. That doesn't happen often in public sector procurement.

    Training & E-Learning

I've produced 50+ hours of technical training content and built e-learning platforms that cut course-based onboarding from 2 weeks to under 1 week. The training library I built at Griaule has reached 100+ people and is still in active use — years after I stopped updating it. That's the measure of whether it actually worked.

    Experience

Where every role added a layer — process, documentation, delivery, and the technical credibility to tie them together.

    Beyond Work

A little more about who I am when the laptop is closed

    Music & Guitar

I've played guitar for most of my adult life — fingerpicking bossa nova on quiet evenings, working through rock classics when I need something louder. There's a particular kind of focus that comes with learning a new piece: you break it into parts, work each one slowly, put them together, and somewhere in the process the thing that seemed difficult becomes natural. I've noticed I approach complex projects the same way — which probably says something about how I learned both.

    Traveling & Cultures

I've lived across six Brazilian states — from the northeast to the south — and have visited 19 of Brazil's 26 states and the Federal District. Beyond Brazil, I've spent time living and working in Europe. What I find most interesting about moving between places isn't the landmarks — it's how differently people solve the same problems. The way a team in Paris structures a meeting is not the way a team in São Paulo does, and neither is obviously right. Traveling taught me early that "the way we do things" is almost always "one of the ways things get done," which makes it easier to adapt and harder to be dogmatic.

    Languages & People

I speak Portuguese and English fluently, and I pick up bits of other languages wherever I go — less out of linguistic ambition and more because trying to communicate in someone else's language changes how they respond to you. There's a version of international work that treats language as a technical barrier to overcome. I've always found it more interesting as a way in — to how people think, what they assume, what they find obvious that someone else would find strange.

I think the best project managers are genuinely curious people — about how things work, how people work, and what the world looks like from somewhere other than where they're standing. The guitar, the travel, and the languages are how I stay that way.
